The Japan Foundation, Manila invites sealed bids for Design, Fabrication, and Installation Services for the Tokyo Before/After Travelling Exhibition.
An open competitive bidding process will be conducted using the criteria of past accomplishments and credibility, service capacity, project timeline, and cost proposal. Interested bidders may obtain further information from The Japan Foundation, Manila starting Wednesday – 2 April 2025.
Bids must be submitted with the title “Tokyo Before/After Exhibit BID” to The Japan Foundation, Manila via email (hannah@jpf.go.jp) on or before 17:00 pm, Monday – 14 April 2025. Late submissions will not be considered.
The awarded bidder will be announced no later than Tuesday, 15 April 2025.

SCOPE OF WORK
Term: Target completion date: 9 May 2025
Location: 3rd Floor, East Wing Atrium, Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, Pasig City
1.Working Area
160 sqm working space (425 sqm total floor space), with required wall length of at least 60 meters and maximum height clearance of 3 meters
2.General Scope of Work
The contractor is expected to provide full fabrication and installation services for the exhibition space, including:
- Architectural and Structural Works
Construction of walls, partitions, and custom surfaces based on final approved design plans
- Flooring and Base Preparation
Installation of specified flooring materials over the event area as required
- Lighting Installation
Supply and setup of appropriate lighting systems (track and accent lights) as guided by the exhibition layout
- Application of Exhibition Materials
Printing and mounting of labels, directional signage, and wall graphics
- On-site Coordination
Cooperation with the mall, designers, and Japan Foundation team throughout the setup and dismantling process
- Mobilization and Demobilization
Transport, logistics, site cleanup, and full removal of structures post-event
3.Deliverables
All materials must be installed and completed on or before 9 May 2025, with dismantling to occur within 3 working days after the exhibition closes. The contractor must coordinate all necessary passes, schedules, and approvals with mall management.
4.Payment Terms
Proposals must clearly outline payment breakdowns and schedules.
5.Bid Requirements:
Inclusive of all materials, labor, tools, transport, permits, coordination, and taxes. All design and fabrication must follow approved construction drawings provided by The Japan Foundation, Manila.
