The Japan Foundation, Manila invites sealed bids for Design, Fabrication, and Installation Services for the Tokyo Before/After Travelling Exhibition. 

An open competitive bidding process will be conducted using the criteria of past accomplishments and credibility, service capacity, project timeline, and cost proposal. Interested bidders may obtain further information from The Japan Foundation, Manila starting Wednesday – 2 April 2025. 

Bids must be submitted with the title “Tokyo Before/After Exhibit BID” to The Japan Foundation, Manila via email (hannah@jpf.go.jp) on or before 17:00 pm, Monday – 14 April 2025. Late submissions will not be considered. 

The awarded bidder will be announced no later than Tuesday, 15 April 2025.

SCOPE OF WORK

Term: Target completion date: 9 May 2025 

Location: 3rd Floor, East Wing Atrium, Estancia Mall, Capitol Commons, Pasig City 

1.Working Area
160 sqm working space (425 sqm total floor space), with required wall length of at least 60 meters and maximum height clearance of 3 meters

2.General Scope of Work

The contractor is expected to provide full fabrication and installation services for the exhibition space, including: 

• Architectural and Structural Works
  Construction of walls, partitions, and custom surfaces based on final approved design plans 

• Flooring and Base Preparation
  Installation of specified flooring materials over the event area as required 

• Lighting Installation
  Supply and setup of appropriate lighting systems (track and accent lights) as guided by the exhibition layout 

• Application of Exhibition Materials
  Printing and mounting of labels, directional signage, and wall graphics 

• On-site Coordination
  Cooperation with the mall, designers, and Japan Foundation team throughout the setup and dismantling process 

• Mobilization and Demobilization
  Transport, logistics, site cleanup, and full removal of structures post-event 

 3.Deliverables
All materials must be installed and completed on or before 9 May 2025, with dismantling to occur within 3 working days after the exhibition closes. The contractor must coordinate all necessary passes, schedules, and approvals with mall management. 

4.Payment Terms
Proposals must clearly outline payment breakdowns and schedules. 

5.Bid Requirements: 

Inclusive of all materials, labor, tools, transport, permits, coordination, and taxes. All design and fabrication must follow approved construction drawings provided by The Japan Foundation, Manila.

Bid for Transportation Service

1. Term: Starting from January 13, 2025 until May 26, 2025, from Monday to Friday

2. Working days: 83 days within 5 months *Approximately 18 days per month, Non service days shall be carried over to the remaining months during the term.

3. Types of vehicles: VAN (Minimum 10 pax capacity) with fully air-conditioned

4. Number of vehicles: 2

5. Types of service: all-inclusive package (driver, fuel, toll fee and parking expenses etc.) *Your company must be accredited by the Department of Tourism (DOT). The units are covered by Third Party Liability (TPL) and Passenger Personal Accident Insurance policies in compliance with the law.

6. Service Route: Rockwell(A), Two Central Condominium(B), both Makati City, and NCF, Sampaloc, Manila City (C) *Some irregular schedule or different destination might be requested during the term for occasional transportation within Metro Manila.

7. Service Hours : Monday to Friday, 6:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., -Morning at 6:30 a.m., departing from (A) to (B) to (C) -Evening at 4:00 p.m., departing from (C) to (B) to (A)

The Japan Foundation, Manila invites sealed bids for Accident and Health Insurance. Bidders should have completed a contract similar to the said Service within 3 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids.

An open competitive bidding will be conducted using criterion of past accomplishments and credibility, service management, proposed plan and quotation. Interested bidders may obtain further information from The Japan Foundation, Manila from Friday – 20 September 2024.

Bids must be submitted on or before 12:00 noon on Friday – 4 October 2024 to epa.ph.2019@jfmo.org.ph. Late bids will not be accepted.

The appointment of the awarded bidder will be announced not later than Friday- 11 October 2024.

  • Affiliated DOH clinics in all provinces of the Philippines.

The Japan Foundation, Manila invites sealed bids for tablets.

An open competitive bidding process will be conducted using criteria of past accomplishments and credibility, service management, proposed plan, and quotation.

Bids must be submitted with the title “EPA 2024 Tablet BID” to The Japan Foundation, Manila, via email (epa.ph.2019@jfmo.org.ph).

This bidding will be conducted through a two-stage selection process. In the first selection stage, per the Japanese government policy, bids that meet the specifications required by us must be submitted in Japanese or English using the attached Annex A – Model Bid Form on or before 12:00 noon on July 15, 2024. Only bidders submitting the appropriate model will be notified through email on July 16, 2024.

In the second selection stage, the bidders who pass the first round will submit a price bid on or before 12:00 noon on July 18, 2024. The appointment of the awarded bidder will be announced through email by July 22 to 24, 2024.

Bid for Tablets
1) Period delivery: From September 1, 2024 to October 18, 2024
2) Number of Tablets: Total 320 units (same model)
3) Technical Specifications – Satisfy the following conditions:

4) Others:
-The product must be recognized as having low supply chain risk in light of the consensus within the Japanese government on the purchase of information devices.
– Delivery has to be at The Japan Foundation, Manila office.
– Each tablet must be tested by the engineers one by one and must be completed by October 18, 2024.
– During operation and upon testing the unit, once the tablets, accessories, or boxes are damaged, we will not accept them. Please handle them with care.
– The delivery period must be from September 1, 2024 to October 18, 2024. Changes to a delivery date outside the period above are not allowed under any circumstances.
– Payment is made by bank transfer, 50% down payment, and 50% upon unit test completion. The first 50% down payment will be done within 7-days after The Japan Foundation receives the order form.

– For bidding qualifications, you may submit a certified copy of the company registry, tax payment certificate, financial statements, average annual sales volume, delivery record including large volume imports, total equity, years in business, etc.
