35th Philippine Nihongo Teachers’ Forum

The Japan Foundation, Manila is pleased invite all Filipino Nihongo Teachers to join and participate in the 35th Philippine Nihongo Teachers’ Forum 2022!

This year’s theme is “Love teaching? Let’s step up together! Building Reflective Professional Communities of Nihongo Teachers”.

The overall goal of this Forum is to build and create reflective professional communities of Nihongo Teachers in the Philippines. Participants will be able to reflect on themselves as a Nihongo teacher by discussing related teacher competences such as: language awareness and professional conduct for the quality and effectiveness of language education.

More specifically, the Forum aims to:

  1. Introduce resource platforms and self assessment tools that are potentially useful to the participants in their role as language teacher
  2. Share knowledge, skills, and experiences during the workshop event and case study presentation
  3. Have participants reflect on one’s professional growth and determine the next steps
Date MAY 21, 2022 (SATURDAY)
Time 9:30 AM ~ 12:15 PM (opens at 9:15 AM)
Venue Zoom Platform
Admission FREE
Participation Maximum of 80 CONFIRMED registrants
Priority in reservation of slots will be given to Nihongo Teachers who are teaching in the Philippines.

Confirmation email will be sent together with the forum’s pre-task.
Forms received after the set deadline will NOT be recorded.
