Easy Living & Working in Japan 

We will introduce materials on Japanese culture and manners to make it easier for your students to work and live in Japan.

IRODORI “Tips for life in Japan” (PDF)
This column at the end of every lesson in the IRODORI coursebooks covers useful knowledge for life in Japan(日本の生活). You can learn about life in Japan and Japanese culture with many photographs and illustrations. The topics are picked up from the main text, especially if they might be unknown to learners who have never been to Japan. You can ask your students to read this section themselves or look at it in class.

ひきだすにほんご Activate Your Japanese

This content library introduces Japanese language and culture to learners of Japanese who wish to learn about Japanese social life. It includes a drama so that you can learn strategies to communicate in Japanese. The stories are interesting and fun to learn. Other features include an “Onomatopoeia” corner and a corner introducing foreigners working in various parts of Japan. Please watch and have fun!

TSUNAHIRO – つながるひろがる

This website specializes in everyday situations of foreign nationals living in Japan, with the purpose of learning basic Japanese expressions and terms. First, check your Japanese ability by recalling what you can do in Japanese in your daily life. See the results to find out which level is appropriate for learning Japanese on this website and which level you should try next.
