Communication skills: Introduction of Speaking and Listening Activities of IRODORI

IRODORI builds practical Japanese skills with plenty of audio and authentic materials

How to use the textbook  / Download All(starter)

There are four types of activity in each lesson: speaking, listening, reading, and writing. Each activity can stand alone, but they are all loosely connected within one lesson. The number, type, and arrangement of activities is different in each lesson, but generally there are more speaking activities. If your goal is to improve the communication skills of your own students, we recommend that you utilize the required “Speaking Activities” and “Listening Activities”.

IRODORI emphasizes listening input. It is important for you to listen to a lot of Japanese so that you can use it in real-life situations. Therefore, IRODORI provides plenty of audio files. With these audio files and materials, you can learn practical Japanese that you can use immediately.

URL “How to use the textbook” above has details on how to use each activity.

URL “Download All(starter)” is to the IRODORI Starter materials page, where you can download the audio for free. The audio is especially essential for ” Speaking Activities” and ” Listening Activities”, so please download and use the audio.
