Sensei no Wa – January 26, 2018 (Friday) – CLOSED

“Sensei no Wa” is open to both experienced and neophyte Japanese-language teachers, and offers a platform for information exchange with one’s peers. It is for the further encouragement of Japanese Language Education and aims to support professional enrichment and network expansion through interactive learning.

Topic: The ARCS Application in Learning Japanese Characters (MOJI)
This lecture will emphasize on ARCS Model to sustain motivation among the learners of Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji, with some practice activities depending on the level and background of learners.

Lecturer: Ms. Dada Horiuchi
– Part-time faculty member of Technological University of the Philippines, handling Nihongo classes for graduate program in the College of Industrial Education
– Japanese Language trainer in the National Language Skills Institute—TESDA
– Short-Term Teacher Training Course Grantee in the Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Urawa, Japan (Summer 2017)
