In this talk I will emphasize the importance of community involvement in Japanese language education and show many examples of how to realize this vision by incorporating project-based activities. I will also demonstrate examples of what we can do in everyday teaching practice to incorporate the vision.
Dr. SHINJI SATO is a Senior Lecturer in East Asian Studies and Director, Japanese Language Program at the Princeton University. Completed his PhD degree in Anthropology and Education at Columbia University.
