Nihongo Fiesta Online 2022

Nihongo Fiesta Online 2022 is a celebration of Japanese Language and Culture that aims to cultivate the Philippine community of Nihongo speakers and enthusiasts. This year will be a three part program that showcases the energy and creativity of the community.

PART 1 | 10:00AM 49th Nihongo Speech Contest

The 49th Nihongo Speech Contest is a competition to open to all Japanese Learners in the Philippines. This friendly contest challenges the knowledge and speaking skills of those studying the language. It’s a great way to learn and see how much the Japanese language community has grown throughout the years.

PART 2 | 12:00PM 3rd Nihongo Video Contest

The 3rd Nihongo Video Contest is a platform for Nihongo Language enthusiasts to showcase not just their speaking skill but also their creativity in telling a story through video. Exclusive to Filipino High School and Senior High students, this year’s theme challenges them to create yummy video content about their favorite food. Oishii desu ne!

PART 3 | 1:30PM Yamato: Drummers of Japan

The music of Taiko Drums is known all around the world for its powerful beats and heart pounding energy. And since 1993 the legendary YAMATO group  has travelled the globe giving epic Taiko performances to a worldwide audience. For Nihongo Fiesta 2022, JFM is proud to present a special performance by YAMATO made especially for their Filipino fans.
