The Japan Foundation, Manila invites sealed bids for Transportation Service.
An open competitive bidding will be conducted using criterion of past accomplishments and credibility, service management, proposed plan and quotation. Interested bidders may obtain further information from The Japan Foundation, Manila from Monday – August 5, 2019.
Bids must be sealed, be clearly marked “TRANSPORTATION SERVICE BID” on the sealed envelope, and be delivered / submitted on or before 12:00 noon on Friday – August 23, 2019 at The Japan Foundation, Manila (23/F, Pacific Star Bldg., Makati Ave., Makati City). Late bids will not be accepted.
The appointment of the awarded bidder will be announced not later than Friday – August 30, 2019
Bid for Transportation Service
- Term: 7 months starting from October 24, 2019, from Monday to Friday and occasional Saturdays
- Number of passengers: 32
- Types of vehicles
Vehicles (10 pax capacity) with driver /fully air-conditioned
*Passengers would ride separately in 4 groups for safety reason.
- Working days: 139 days per 7 months
*Approximately 20 days per month, Non service days shall be carried over to the remaining months during the term.
- Service Route:
Rockwell, Makati City (A) to/from TESDA, Taguig City (B) and other routes within Metro Manila
- Service Hours
(Monday)
―Morning at 7:15 a.m., departing from (A) to (B)
―One vehicle remains/stand-by at (B) for occasional transportation within Metro Manila
―Evening at 5:00 p.m., departing from (B) to (A)
(Tuesday to Friday)
―Morning at 6:45 a.m., departing from (A) to (B)
―One vehicle remains/stand-by at (B) for occasional transportation within Metro Manila
―Evening at 4:30 p.m., departing from (B) to (A)
(Saturday)
―Morning at 6:45 a.m., departing from (A) to (B)
―One vehicle remains/stand-by at (B) for occasional transportation within Metro Manila
―Afternoon at (TBA) p.m., departing from (B) to (A)
*Some irregular schedule or different destination might be requested during the term for occasional transportation within Metro Manila.
Bid must be an all-inclusive package (driver, fuel and parking expenses etc.)
