The Japan Foundation, Manila is seeking submissions for 20-minute presentations on sharing teaching practices in Nihongo classrooms in the Philippines for the forthcoming 33rd Philippine Nihongo Teachers’ Forum (Online) to be held on 22 May 2021 (Saturday).
Each presentation will be followed by a 10-minute Q&A Session.
The presentation should be in English or Japanese.
We welcome papers on the following issues of your teaching practice:
- Curriculum/syllabus design for Nihongo courses
- Pedagogical topics such as activities and teaching strategies employed in your Nihongo classes
- Reports on Material Development together with a lesson summary of its application
We do not intend to gather full-scale action research reports, but rather reports and reflections of simple teaching practices in your classroom and courses. Please focus on one particular course, class, or lesson to describe in the presentation.
